Vancouver police are looking for witnesses to a collision that happened on Monday causing a cyclist to sustain 'life-threatening injuries'.
According to a press release, the collision occurred just before 9:30 a.m.
The cyclist was traveling north on Maple Street at 4th Avenue when the driver of a Toyota Venza hit her at the intersection.
Const. Tania Visintin stated in the release that 'The cyclist’s leg was stuck under the car, and Vancouver Fire Rescue Services had to use the jaws of life to free her'.
The 36-year-old is still in the hospital.
