The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, urged Nigerians to trust President Bola Tinubu's administration as it works on solving the country's problems.
He mentioned that the country's economy is improving under Tinubu.
Idris made these remarks on Wednesday during an Iftar (breaking of fast) with media executives in Kano.
He highlighted that the current administration under Tinubu is putting in great effort to tackle the challenges, which he believes will soon be overcome.
He pointed out that the President had introduced policies and programs to improve the well-being of Nigerians.
He encouraged Nigerians to have trust and confidence in President Bola Tinubu's leadership for the successful execution of the policies and programs of his administration.
He stated that the Ministry of Information and National Orientation is dedicated to completely revamping the agencies under the ministry in order to enhance the sector.
The minister revealed that the administration is striving to revive the nation’s refineries, emphasizing that the rehabilitation of the Port Harcourt Refinery would soon be completed for production to begin.
Idris expressed disappointment at how the Central Bank of Nigeria was mismanaged by the previous leadership, but noted that the Tinubu administration had restored the bank's lost glory through the implementation of appropriate policies.
He also added that the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu has begun to produce positive results as the country's economy is gradually improving.
