Finally, HBO has revealed the premiere date for Season 2 of 'House of the Dragon.' The TV show 'House of the Dragon' will have a second season. You can watch it on June 16 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
The next season, based on George R. R. Martin’s 'Fire & Blood,' will depict Westeros on the verge of a civil war as two leaders battle for the throne. HBO is offering two different trailers for fans: Green or Black. These represent King Aegon’s (Tom Glynn-Carney) Green Council and Queen Rhaenyra’s (Emma D’Arcy) Black Council.
The Green trailer focuses on King Aegon’s rise to the throne, showing dragons and distrustful looks. His past as a dragonrider is not forgotten, and one of his advisors says, “You must accept that the path to victory now is one of violence.” King Aegon cheerfully responds, “Good, to war, then.
On the other hand, the Black trailer portrays a more furious leader. Queen Rhaenyra states, “My father chose me to succeed him, yet Alicent’s son sits in my throne. I meant to fight this war, and win it.” Meanwhile, Prince Daemon Targaryen makes a demand of his enemies: either denounce their false king or their houses will burn.
Season 1 stars will return along with new cast members, including Abubakar Salim, Gayle Rankin, Freddie Fox, Simon Russell Beale, Clinton Liberty, Jamie Kenna, Kieran Bew, Tom Bennett, Tom Taylor, and Vincent Regan.
