President Biden chose UConn to win March Madness this year, and Jimmy Fallon thinks it's because both the president and the team have an equal chance of becoming consecutive champions.
Biden's bracket includes UConn, North Carolina, Houston, and Tennessee as the Final Four teams, and he predicts UConn to beat North Carolina while Houston defeats Tennessee. All four teams are highly rated, with UConn winning last year's men’s tournament against San Diego State, 76-59.
Fallon joked, “Biden relates to UConn, because they both have a 38% chance of winning again.”
The “Late Night” host also included Biden’s opponent Donald Trump in his March Madness jokes, praising the former president for being “able to identify all the mascots,” taking a jab at the cognitive exam Trump reportedly took.
Despite this, Fallon is confident that Trump did not actually create his own bracket to compete.
“Trump didn’t fill out a bracket because he doesn’t have the 10 bucks to join the pool,” he joked.
