Peel Regional Police report that one person has died and another person has been injured after a shooting in Mississauga Mississauga early Thursday.
The shooting took place near Dixie Road and Queensway East at about 2:45 a.m.
Authorities stated that one victim was confirmed dead.
Another victim, a man, was transported to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, according to paramedics.
No information about the suspect was available. Anyone with any information or video footage is urged to contact the police.
