The national weather agency says that 15 to 25 cm of snow is possible, with snowfall rates peaking at 2 to 4 cm per hour. Gusts of up to 60 km/h are also expected, leading to sudden reductions in visibility.
The snow squall watch includes London, Parkhill, and eastern Middlesex County. A separate warning for snow squalls, which spans from South Huron to north of Haliburton, predicts up to 35 cm of snowfall and an earlier start to the snow.
