The May crude contract fell by US$1.39 to US$81.34 per barrel, and the May natural gas contract dropped by three cents to US$1.85 per mmBTU.
The April gold contract increased by US$1.40 to US$2,161.10 per ounce, and the May copper contract decreased by two cents to US$4.06 per pound.
