York Regional Police are searching for four individuals after a person was attacked and robbed at a residence in Richmond Hill last week.
Officials said the event occurred on Friday at about 11 p.m. at a dwelling in the vicinity of Yonge Street and Gamble Road.
Investigators claim the victim went to a residence in the area to carry out a “business transaction”. Upon entering the home, the victim was attacked, and the individuals escaped with the victim's belongings.
The victim sustained minor injuries, according to police.
The initial suspect is characterized as a 30- to 40-year-old male, standing six feet tall with an average build and short black hair. He was observed wearing a yellow/brown shirt, dark pants and dark-rimmed glasses.
The remaining three suspects are described as males dressed in all black attire and black face masks, with a red design on one of the masks.
The inquiry is ongoing. Investigators wish to speak to anyone with video surveillance or dashcam footage in the area at the time of the incident.
