The New England Patriots are already getting ready for the next part of their offseason as the NFL free agency settles down. On Monday, the team shared its plan for the offseason workouts and spring practice, announcing a return to on-field activities in less than a month. The offseason workouts will end with a special event: the Patriots HOF Induction of Tom Brady, who is the famous quarterback that led the Patriots to six Super Bowl titles. . The offseason program will be divided into three phases, with the initial phase starting in April. Team drills or practices are not allowed during this time.
Phase 2 moves to on-field activities in May. Over three weeks, the Patriots will engage in individual and group instructions and drills, as the offensive and defensive players begin to work together.
A big moment in the offseason is the rookie minicamp, set for May 10th and 11th. This year, there will be media access to the Saturday session, giving insights into the team’s newest additions.
After the rookie minicamp, the organized team activities (OTAs) will start on May 20th. With ten practices spread over three weeks, OTAs provide valuable chances for player development and team building.
The end of the spring practice schedule is the mandatory minicamp, scheduled for June 11th to 13th. Every player on the roster must take part unless given permission to be absent. This is the final preparation before the offseason break. Here is the full spring schedule:
