Kelowna Mounties have one person in custody after a report of threats at Orchard Park Mall in Kelowna.
At around 12:56 p.m., Kelowna RCMP were summoned to a report of a person with a gun and making threats to others, according to the RCMP.
“Several officers, including members of the Southeast District Emergency Response Team, quickly arrived at the mall when it was confirmed that there was no incident involving the use of a firearm.”
The area is now open to the public again, and the investigation is still ongoing.
