The entertainment agency CAA had another round of job cuts on Tuesday, affecting fewer than 20 workers in different parts of the company, according to TheWrap.
The affected workers have already been told about their dismissal.
This staff adjustment follows a larger round of layoffs from August. About 60 employees were affected in IT, TV lit, and music. The previous layoffs were not connected to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, but were part of an internal assessment of staffing levels that started before the WGA strike.
Last October, François-Henri Pinault’s Artémis also acquired a majority stake in Creative Artists Agency, a move that had been rumored since August. TheWrap has contacted CAA for a statement. was the first to report this news.
