The production company T-Street, owned by Rian Johnson and Ram Bergman, has signed a contract to make two movies with Warner Bros. Motion Picture Group.
This comes after T-Street's acclaimed film “American Fiction” and the recent “Snack Shack” release through Republic Pictures. The deal was arranged by Michael De Luca and Pam Abdy, co-chairs and CEOs, and is the first collaboration between T-Street and Warner Bros.
Since its launch in 2019, T-Street has created notable movies like “Knives Out” and the Netflix-released sequel “Glass Onion,” Cord Jefferson’s “American Fiction,” and Chloe Domont’s provocative “Fair Play.” They are also behind the mystery series “Poker Face” and the upcoming sci-fi epic “3 Body Problem” on Netflix. Johnson is currently working on the third installment in the Benoit Blanc series, which is set to start filming later this year.
De Luca and Abdy said, “Rian and Ram have created many incredibly entertaining films and are a fantastic creative team who fit right in with Warner Bros. Motion Picture Group's family of storytellers striving to bring more great movies to audiences worldwide.” They added, “As Warner Bros. Discovery continues to invest in the future of entertainment for all audiences, we are extremely thrilled to have Rian and Ram with us.”
Johnson and Bergman stated, “Mike and Pam's renewed dedication to original storytelling and the cinematic experience makes Warner Bros. Discovery an ideal place for us to bring the filmmakers we admire to global audiences on a large scale. We are excited to have them as partners.”
Johnson and Bergman have been creative partners since Johnson's first film, the high school noir “Brick,” and have continued to collaborate on projects like “The Brothers Bloom,” “Looper” and “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.”
