The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Abdullahi Ganduje, announced Dennis Idahosa as the party’s deputy governorship candidate in Edo State during a meeting with the party’s gubernatorial aspirants and stakeholders in Edo State.
This information was revealed in a statement on the party’s official X handle on Monday.
The message stated, “The National Chairman, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, met with APC gubernatorial aspirants and other stakeholders in Edo State. During the meeting, Hon. Dennis Idahosa was introduced as the party’s deputy governorship candidate in the state.”
PUNCH Online reports that former Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, on Monday, congratulated Senator Monday Okpebholo on his selection as the APC's governorship candidate in the state.
This occurred one month after his favored candidate, Idahosa, lost to Okpebholo in the February 22 APC primary election.
