A financial technology company, BlueBulb Financials, in partnership with the Daramola Dynasty Foundation, helped more than 800 families in Isara, Ogun State by providing food items to ease the current economic difficulties.
As per a statement on Sunday, the food items were given out during a food drive on March 15 to help the community cope with the recent rise in food prices.
It mentioned that many residents showed up in large numbers to participate in the drive and celebrate the sense of togetherness that marked the occasion.
The foundation explained that the act was influenced by the recent increase in inflation, which had made it increasingly hard for many families to afford food.
“This challenge affects both the Christian and Muslim communities. The Christian and Muslim communities in Isara came out in numbers to participate in the drive and salute the spirit of unity that was displayed throughout the event.
“This food drive in Isara is a prime example of our corporate social responsibility initiatives in action. By providing essential food items for 800 families and individuals in need, we’re not just offering a helping hand; we’re fostering a stronger sense of community and togetherness during this difficult time,” the statement said.
