A Sudbury, Ont., man has been arrested after a 71-year-old man was seriously injured after exiting a subway train in Toronto last week, police say.
Officers from the Toronto police went to the Don Mills Road and Sheppard Avenue East area at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13 in response to a call.
The police mentioned that the suspect and the victim left an eastbound train at Don Mills Subway Station and the suspect then pushed the victim with two hands.
As per the police, the victim fell and sustained serious injuries to the head after hitting the ground.
Detectives unveiled pictures of a suspect on Saturday, and later confirmed an arrest on Monday.
Francois Andre Lefebvre, 33, a resident of Sudbury, has been charged with aggravated assault.
