The kidnappers took 87 people in a new attack on the Kajuru-Station community in Kaduna State on Sunday night.
Harisu Dari, a member of the Kajuru-Station Youths, confirmed the incident on Monday in Kaduna.
Harisu said the kidnappers also broke into some shops and stole food and other valuables. They came to the village around 10pm.
This attack happened just two days after 15 women and a man were taken in the Dogon-Noma community of the same area.
Kajuru and Chikun LGs have been the center of kidnapping in the last two weeks, causing worry in the state.
No contact has been made with the 87 people taken on Sunday night, according to Harisu.

The villagers are distressed by the sad events. The government needs to rethink its approach to dealing with these kidnappers,” he said.
The PUNCH reports that in two weeks, over 172 villagers have been kidnapped.
The Kaduna State Police Command confirmed the kidnapping of 87 residents of Kajuru-Station in Kajuru by bandits on Sunday.
The Public Relations Officer of the command, ASP Mansir Hassan, said the exact numbers are uncertain for now.
Hassan stated that the command has sent its personnel to the area to rescue the victims.
In Kaduna, a suicide bomber died, and some people were injured in an unsuccessful attempt to bomb part of Biu town in Borno State on Sunday.
Sources told The PUNCH a male bomber wearing an explosive vest went to a local restaurant in Biu town on Sunday. But while trying to enter the Marvelous Restaurant, the bomb went off.
Sources said it happened at 7:40pm, and a loud sound was heard in their neighborhood about 2km away from Nigeria Army University, Biu, Borno State.
“He was a lone suicide bomber and he was trying to enter the restaurant before he blew himself up,” an eyewitness named Mohammed Idris said. “Some people got various injuries.”
The 7 Division Nigerian Army spokesman, Lt Col Ahemusu Jingina, could not be reached immediately for confirmation, but a trusted source confirmed that the bomber died quickly.
The whole area has been inspected, and security agencies are on alert in case of any more security problems, according to a source.
The incident happened less than five hours after the Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, distributed food supplies in Biu to 52,500 vulnerable residents of seven Local Government Areas of Southern Borno zone.
ASP Kenneth Daso, Borno Police Command spokesman, confirmed the incident to The PUNCH.
He said “we haven't yet confirmed if he was a suicide bomber targeting that place or he was on his way to an unknown target; but we are still investigating.”
