RCMP in Salmon Arm are asking the public to help find a vehicle that may have been used in several thefts.
Authorities said on Thursday that they were trying to find a 2022 grey Ford Explorer and two people inside who are suspected of participating in a theft on Vancouver Island and other locations.
Salmon Arm RCMP media relations officer Const. Andrew Hodges mentioned that the suspects seem to be two men aged 30-50 of Middle Eastern descent.
“The occupants now seem to be targeting Salmon Arm businesses, especially electronics, cell phones, and maybe jewelry,” Hodges added.
The SUV has a Quebec licence plate with the number ‘FSH7910.’
People are advised to immediately contact the police and not approach the vehicle if they see it. The public can call the Salmon Arm RCMP detachment at 250-832-6044.
