The authorities found human remains near the Clairmont community on Sunday.
According to a news release, officers from Grande Prairie RCMP responded to reports of human remains on Range Road 55, south of Township Road 730, near Clairmont last Thursday. Authorities stated that the remains are those of Echer Marcial, 34, a male resident of Grande Prairie. The death is currently considered suspicious.
An examination is set for Monday in Edmonton.
Police are requesting anyone with video surveillance in the area where the remains were found to contact police at 780-830-5700 or their local police station.
