A young Nigerian, Abubakar Sadiq, is asking for assistance to find his parents, particularly his mother, whom he said he lost touch with from birth.
He explains that he never met his parents, but was cared for by Mrs Eno Bassey, with whom he resided in Kaduna State.
Sharing his story on a Facebook group, Sadiq mentioned that Mrs Bassey passed away in 2000 when he was only five years old.
He mentioned that Mrs Bassey was from Oron local Government of Akwa Ibom State, where she passed away.
Sadiq stated, “I was just a little boy of five years old when she died, and I got nobody to tell me information about my origin and parents.
“I roamed the streets both in Kaduna and Minna, Niger state at a tender age.
“I ended up in Minna orphanage home in the year 2003, then I was around eight years old.”
Sadiq is seeking assistance to discover his origin and find his parents, “especially my mum.”
He provided pictures of Mrs Bassey, himself in the orphanage in 2003, and a picture of what he looks like now.
He also presented a picture of the only surviving person he knows, Big Sunny, who he described as Mrs Bassey’s grandson, whom they both lived together.
