The university in Lagos, LASU, has said it will send its students for a three-week orientation with the National Youth Service Corps in batch A, stream 2.
The university's Students’ Affairs Division mentioned this in a statement on its X handle (formerly Twitter) on Friday.
The university stated that eligible corps members should check their NYSC details on the portal for the 2024 Batch A stream 2 mobilisation.
It also mentioned that the portal has all the information needed for successful registration.
It further advised all potential corps members to verify their details on the NYSC portal for the 2024 Batch A Stream 2 mobilisation exercise.
It encouraged graduates to make sure that the graduation date on the NYSC portal matches the one on their Notification of Results/Certificates.
Prospective corps members must present their registration slip, notification of result, and school identity card at the Students’ Affairs Division before going to the NYSC Orientation Camp to avoid rejection at the camp.
It also suggested that Lagos State University graduates should print their self-generated notification of results on plain white paper for consistency.
