Hamilton’s Travis Hodichak plans to buy a house and a new car soon after winning $5 million from his first big lottery prize.
Hodichak received the money on Feb. 21 through the Classic Jackpot draw for a winning ticket he got at a Circle K in St. Catharines. Lotto 649 “It still feels like a dream to me. My mom was the first person I told and she didn’t believe me at first,” he said after confirming his victory.
The 29-year-old, who usually plays 649 and Lotto Max regularly, intends to put the rest of the money from his two big purchases into savings and investments.
