According to police, they have charged a Guelph man for threatening his former landlord earlier this week.
Police stated that on Monday night, a previous tenant returned to a house where he had rented a basement apartment near the intersection of Paisley Road and Hanlon Parkway.
According to police, the man walked around the property and shouted that he was going to set the house on fire.
Police investigators said they found the suspect on Thursday morning in the downtown core.
A 39-year-old man will have a bail hearing on Friday.
