Toronto police are currently investigating the death of a woman in the eastern part of the city, according to homicide detectives.
At approximately 4 a.m., authorities were summoned to Scarborough Golf Club Road and Kingston Road, as per police reports.
According to the authorities, a woman was discovered with injuries and subsequently pronounced deceased. The specifics of her injuries were not immediately disclosed.
Law enforcement mentioned that an individual was apprehended.
The homicide unit has been brought in for an ongoing inquiry conducted by the Toronto police.
