Cimini believes that Mekhi Becton will not return to the Jets. He thinks Becton will move on when the market for offensive tackles becomes active.
It is highly unlikely that Becton will return to the Jets.
The Jets allowed both of their starting offensive tackles from the beginning of the 2023 season to enter free agency.
Duane Brown may choose to retire at 38 years old. Becton has not connected well with the current coaching staff and has not reached his full potential.
After experiencing injuries that ended his 2021 and 2022 seasons, Becton proved that he can remain on the field. The former Louisville player appeared in played in 16 out of 17 games for the Jets last season.
There is still a slight possibility of Becton returning to the Jets, especially with quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

New York still needs to fill another starting position in the trenches. Once that is sorted, they will need to add some depth players.
