Fresh from his talked-about “I’m Just Ken” performance at the Oscars on Sunday, Ryan Gosling is scheduled to host an upcoming episode of “SNL” in April.
The star of “Barbie” will be hosting the NBC late-night show for the third time on April 13, ahead of the release of his new movie “The Fall Guy” on May 3. Gosling will be accompanied by musical guest Chris Stapleton, who will also be performing on “SNL” for the third time.
Former “SNL” cast member Kristen Wiig will make a return to Studio 8H on April 6, marking her fifth hosting stint. Raye will be the musical guest for the episode, making her debut on “SNL” as the “Escapism” singer.
Gosling and Wiig’s appearances will come after the March 30 episode, which will showcase Ramy Youssef’s first time hosting “SNL.” Travis Scott will join Youssef as the musical guest on the show for the second time.
“SNL” began 2024 with Jacob Elordi, known for his roles in “Saltburn” and “Priscilla,” making his hosting debut alongside Reneé Rapp, who performed on “SNL” for the first time.
Dakota Johnson, known for her role in “Madame Web,” hosted the second show of the year alongside Justin Timberlake, marking the pop star’s fifth solo musical guest appearance. Ayo Edebiri, acclaimed for her performance as Sydney on “The Bear,” also hosted in February with musical guest Jennifer Lopez. Additional hosts this spring included Sydney Sweeney, who was joined by Kacey Musgraves, as well as Josh Brolin, who took the stage alongside Ariana Grande.
In February, Shane Gillis, the comedian who was dismissed from “SNL” after his racist jokes resurfaced in 2019, also hosted. was fired “SNL” airs on NBC at 11:30 p.m. ET and streams live on Peacock at 11:30 p.m. ET/8:30 p.m. PT. All previous seasons of “SNL” can be streamed on Peacock.
