A man has been quickly taken to the hospital in critical condition after a fire at a North York tall building Tuesday evening, officials state.
Toronto Fire stated they got a report for a fire in the vicinity of Yonge Street and Cummer Avenue, to the north of Finch, at 7 p.m.
Firefighters arrived at a two-alarm fire in a tall residential building in a unit on the 10th floor.
Firefighters are still actively battling the fire.
Paramedics said they took an adult male to hospital with critical injuries.
Drivers should brace for road closures and delays in the area.
