It’s confirmed. Experienced quarterback Mason Rudolph will not come back to the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2024.
NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo stated on March 13 that Rudolph agreed to a 1-year deal to join the Tennessee Titans. Garafolo posted on Twitter that the deal is valued at up to $3.62 million.
“Following six seasons with the Steelers that ended positively with strong play in the latter part, Rudolph gets a new beginning in Tennessee,” wrote Garafolo on X (formerly Twitter).
Rudolph departs from the Steelers after six NFL seasons. In 21 games, he accomplished 63.5% of his throws for 19 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. He had an 8-4-1 record as a starter.
In 2023, Rudolph achieved a 74.3% completion rate and averaged 9.7 yards per pass. He also recorded 3 touchdowns and zero interceptions while obtaining a 3-0 record.
In Tennessee, Rudolph will join a quarterback group that includes 2023 second-round pick Will Levis and 2022 third-round selection Malik Willis.
