A24 and Imax are teaming up to show A24's popular movies on Imax screens for the first time. The series will start on March 27 with 'Ex Machina'.
After the special showing of 'Ex Machina,' there will be an exclusive sneak peek at Alex Garland's upcoming film 'Civil War,' which will be released in theaters and Imax on April 12. 'Civil War' will have its premiere at SXSW on Thursday.
Imax will digitally enhance and present one classic A24 film each month in Imax theaters across the nation and in select international locations for the next year.
Future screenings in this series include 'Hereditary' on April 24 and 'Uncut Gems' on May 22.
Over 300 Imax theaters are part of this series. Tickets are available for purchase at www.imax.com/a24. This new series builds on the successful partnership between A24 and Imax. Previous collaborations included exclusive Imax shows of the Talking Heads concert film 'Stop Making Sense,' as well as screenings of movies like 'The Tragedy of Macbeth,' 'Everything Everywhere All at Once,' 'Beau Is Afraid,' and a nationwide celebration for the 25th anniversary of Darren Aronofsky's 'Pi'..
