A person from New Brunswick died after crashing an ATV into a ditch in Acadie Siding early on Sunday morning, according to the police.
Richibucto RCMP detachment received a report at about 7:08 a.m. about an off-road vehicle in a ditch on Highway 480, as per a police press release.
“The crash is thought to have happened when the ATV went into the ditch, struck a culvert, and the driver was thrown from the vehicle.”

The driver, a 27-year-old person from Collette, N.B., died at the scene due to the injuries.
The Rogersville Fire Department and Ambulance New Brunswick also attended the scene.
Authorities stated that an investigation into the incident is underway, with support from the New Brunswick Coroner’s Office.
