The governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has agreed to give out the 2023/2024 Bursary and 2022/2023 Scholarship Award to Kwara State citizens in colleges and universities owned by the state and federal governments.
The Kwara State Ministry of Tertiary Education Commissioner, Dr. Mary Arinde, revealed this information in a statement posted on the state's official X handle on Sunday.
As per the statement, only final-year students who come from Kwara State and attend government universities or colleges are qualified to apply.
The statement said that the Executive Governor of Kwara State has authorized the disbursement of the 2023/2024 Bursary and 2022/2023 Scholarship Award to Kwara State citizens attending state and federal government colleges and universities.
The statement specifies, "Only final year students from Kwara State attending government colleges and universities are eligible.
"Those interested in applying have two weeks from Monday, 11th March 2024 to apply for this year's Bursary and Scholarship Award.
"Registration for the Bursary and Scholarship Award closes on Sunday, 24th March 2024."
According to the statement, individuals interested in the bursary should register by visiting https://scholarship.kw.gov.ng and following the registration process.
