A fire broke out on Sunday at Dan’agundi transmission station, a major electricity transmission station in Kano State.
The fire was reported to have damaged the high-capacity transformer and emergency responders had not arrived at the location at the time of reporting.
The reason for the fire is still unknown as attempts to contact Sani Bala Sani, the Head of the Corporate Communication Unit of the Kano Electricity Distribution Company, were unsuccessful.
