The Bonsaac vigilante group in Asaba, the capital of Delta State, has captured a 28-year-old man named Ogochukwu Uzorka, who allegedly tried to steal a bag of rice.
In an interview on Sunday in Asaba, Francis Okolo, the chairman of the Bonsaac vigilante, stated that the suspect was apprehended on Saturday.
He explained, “The suspect managed to break into five stores, but was disappointed to find that four of them had a security barrier under the ceiling.
“He only managed to steal rechargeable lamps from the fifth store before being caught by the Bonsaac vigilante members.
“The suspect claimed he was searching for a bag of rice to eat, but was unable to break into the store where it was located.”
