The times and locations have been decided for the five PIAA state basketball games including Wyoming Valley Conference teams.
Two teams will have a doubleheader at Minersville High School while two more will have a doubleheader at Bethlehem Liberty.
In Class 3A girls, Holy Redeemer, the District 2 champion, will face York Catholic, the District 3 third seed, at 6 p.m. at Minersville. In Class A boys, MMI Prep, the District 2 champion, will play High Point Baptist, the District 2 third seed, at 7:30 p.m.
The Hazleton Area girls, District 2 champion, will play Cardinal O’Hara, District 12 second seed, at 6 p.m. at Bethlehem Liberty. The Dallas boys, District 2 runner-up, will play Unionville, District 1 champion, at 7:30 p.m.
The Lake-Lehman girls, District 2 third seed, will play Loyalsock, District 4 second seed, at 7:30 p.m. at Berwick High School.
All winners on Tuesday will move on to the quarterfinals on Friday.
The Dallas girls will compete on Wednesday in the Class 5A second round. The location and time will be determined Sunday afternoon.
