Madeline Brewer, known for her roles in 'The Handmaid's Tale' and 'Orange Is the New Black,' will join the fifth and final season of Netflix's 'You,' as reported by TheWrap.
She will play Bronte, a mysterious and unconventional playwright who begins working at Joe Goldberg's bookstore. character description, Brewer's character will evoke nostalgia for Joe's past self, leading him to question his current life, as they bond over their shared passion for literature and coping with loss.
The 'Handmaid's Tale' actress portrays Janine in the Hulu series based on Margaret Atwood's popular novel, for which she received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2021. The dystopian show is also gearing up for its final season.
Brewer's upcoming projects include the thriller 'Anniversary' alongside Kyle Chandler, Phoebe Dynevor, Diane Lane, and Zoey Deutch, as well as 'I Live Here Now' with Lucy Fry.
