Even though some bike paths are still closed, people are already embracing the spring cycling season.

Vélo Québec’s Magali Bebronne mentioned that there is growing impatience to have the bike paths reopened, especially on narrower streets that are used for parking in winter.
There is also impatience to get bicycles serviced for the season.
The pleasant weather has resulted in a high demand for bike services at C&L Cycling on Rachel Street.
Co-owner Jean-Daniel Lafleur admitted that they were caught off guard by the sudden surge in demand.
Lafleur’s shop is currently servicing up to 30 bikes per day, a significant increase from the usual four to six at this time of year.
He stated that the season for bike servicing started 5 to 6 weeks earlier than usual.
Lafleur advises people to schedule their appointments as soon as possible to avoid the rush.
Those who are prepared are thoroughly enjoying the situation.
Weissenberg expressed how much she loves the current cycling conditions.
Cyclists should make the most of it because a winter storm is expected this weekend, which will put a stop to all the fun.
According to Environment Canada, Saturday is expected to bring 15 mm of rain and two to four centimeters of snow.
