Sen. Katie Britt’s (R-AL) State Of the Union response became infamous in the GOP for resembling a Stepford wife.
Video of Britt:
Katie Britt sounds like a Stepford Senator as Republicans keep their streak going of guessing wrong with their rebuttal talking points, “President Biden just doesn’t get it. He’s out of touch under his administration, families are worse off our communities are less safe.” pic.twitter.com/h0zyykz58t

Britt attempted to assert that President Biden was out of touch and gave the impression of being overly medicated from Xanax obtained from the White House pharmacy. Trump used to pass out to anyone and everyone from the White House pharmacy.
The remarks were unsettling because her facial expressions and tone of voice did not align with her words.
For instance, Britt smiled while discussing the struggles of American families:

It became extremely eerie as Britt attempted to instill fear into America regarding immigration while speaking in an unnatural, ghost-like tone:

Britt was attempting to emulate the voice of a fundamentalist Christian woman. If you’ve seen 19 Kids and Counting, you’ve heard Michelle Duggar use that voice. The wife of Speaker Mike Johnson used that voice.
Here is Katie Britt’s real voice:

She should have used her authentic voice. It would have prevented her from alarming America and diverting attention from her message.
It has become a recurring pattern for Republicans to present a rising star in their party only to end their career with a peculiar SOTU response.
Katie Britt may have once had a future, but now she is going to be an SNL sketch.
