The much anticipated decision from the Pittsburgh Steelers regarding veteran cornerback Patrick Peterson has been made.

Peterson had a slow start to the 2023 season but showed improvement around the middle of the campaign. Towards the end of the season, the Steelers requested Peterson to play more as a safety due to injuries and a suspension to Damontae Kazee.

During the 2023 regular season, Peterson recorded 42 combined tackles with 11 pass defenses and 2 interceptions in 17 games. He also made 4 tackles in the team’s sole playoff game.
Throughout his career, Peterson has been selected for the first-team All-Pro three times and has received eight Pro Bowl nods. However, his most recent Pro Bowl appearance was in 2018, and he will be 34 in July. The Steelers will incur
