Even three days after the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship, there is still a lot of attention on what happened during warmups between Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes of the Chiefs and kicker Justin Tucker of the Ravens. What was perhaps some kind of strategy from Tucker seems to have been effective, as Kelce and Mahomes are now being asked about Tucker instead of focusing on the Super Bowl. The two shared their latest comments, with Mahomes expressing his thoughts on a Kansas City radio show.
Mahomes mentioned that in his seven years of doing the same warm-up routine, he has only encountered three instances where the kicker wasn't cooperating, all of which were in Baltimore.
Got ’em.
“He does little things to try to bother us,” Mahomes explained. “I asked him to move his equipment, and he only moved it a couple of inches without clearing the way. “I was going to let it slide, but Travis took care of it for me.” The Pat McAfee show aired the clip on Wednesday.

Later that day, Kelce appeared on the show and was photobombed by Mahomes. They discussed how they would have received a penalty if Tucker had missed a late field goal to bring the Ravens within one score.
“Me and Patrick were on the sideline in the fourth quarter,
Kelce said, slipping into a Hank Hill impression.
Even if Tucker had missed the field goal, we would have definitely received a 15-yard penalty.”
“Of course he made it, of course,
Mahomes added.

He couldn’t let us have any fun.”
It certainly seems like Tucker succeeded in getting under their skin.
However, it's unfortunate for him and the Ravens that it didn't affect Kelce and Mahomes more.
